The SCMT100MDExp is an expansion board specifically designed for the SCMT100MD PLC. It adds additional 40 digital inputs and 40 digital outputs to the SCMT100MD1616+, giving it a total of 56 digital inputs and 56 digital outputs. Of these expansion I/Os, 16 of the expansion digital inputs are TTL levels, and 16 of the expansion digital outputs are 5V HCMOS logic level type.

The SCMT100MDExp is identical in size to the SCMT100MD1616+ PLC. This allows the expansion board to be "stacked" on top or below a SCMT100MD1616+ PLC for applications where the controller must be fitted within a very tight space.
