 Installing of MiniSuperPLCs

Installing Method

MiniSuperPLCs is little and it is suitable for fitting inside panels or PLCry within it’s specification criteria. The installation of MiniSuperPLCs is quite simple:

1. Use a standard 35mm DIN rail for installation of MiniSuperPLCs as shown in figure.

2. Use the two diagonal clearance holes on MiniSuperPLCs for direct mounting.

Use standard DIN rail for installation of MiniSuperPLCs

Notes:

1. The LCD of the MiniSuperPLCs is removable. Hold the two sides of the PLC and pull.

2. Do not remove the LCD panel whilst the MiniSuperPLCs is powered, otherwise the MiniSuperPLCs and

LCD panel may be damaged and endanger the personal safety of the user.

Wiring of MiniSuperPLCs

A screwdriver with a spade tip width of 3mm is used for the wiring of MiniSuperPLCs. The maximum cross sections of the wires that can be inserted into the terminals are determined according to the following sizes:

1*2.5mm²

2*1.5mm²

Connection Power Supply

1. S12MRAC, S22MRAC, S20ERA, SVPA, SCA are AC types.

The rated power supply requirement for them is 110-240VAC, 50/60HZ. The range of the grid voltage is 100VAC to 240VAC. The consumption power of S12MRAC and S22MRAC is separately 3W and 5W representatively.

2. S12MRDC, S12MTDC, S12MGDC, S22MRDC, S22MTDC, S22MGDC, S20ERD, S20ETD, S20EGD, SVPD, SCD are DC types. The supplying DC voltage is12VDC and 24VDC. The range of the voltage is

12VDC to 24VDC. The consumption power of S12MTDC, S12MGDC,S22MTDC and S22MGDC is 2W both.

The power connection for MiniSuperPLCs is as shown in the following figures:

Connecting Inputs

The input to MiniSuperPLCs can be either switching, such as on/off switches etc., or analog, such as pressure, temperature, humidity, flow, etc. The specific requirements are as follows:

Note:

1. For S12MRDC, S12MTDC, S12MGDC, S22MRDC, S22MTDC and S22MGDC,that can receive analog input. They can be set to analog input or switching input as either may be used in the program. They will be recognized as analog inputs when the input terminal is connected with an analog function block, and they will be recognized as switching inputs when the input terminal is not connected with an analog function block.

2. The analog inputs require 0V ~ +10V voltage signals. These are divided

equally in 0.1V increments. In programming, all the block parameters related to the analog inputs are based on the minimum increment of 0.1V.

3. They can be recognized as switching input when the input voltage is more than 10.0V and cannot be recognized as an analog input.

4. For the switching input off, when the switch status changes from 0 to 1, the time of Status 1 must be greater than 50ms, and when the switch status changes from 1 to 0, the time of Status 0 also must be greater than 50ms.

Connecting PLCs is shown as in the following figures:

Connecting Outputs

1. Requirement for the relay output Various loads such as lamp, fluorescent tube, motor, contactor, etc., can be connected to the outputs of MiniSuperPLCs. The max. ON output current that can be supplied by PLCs, is 10A for the resistance load and 2A for the inductive load. The connection is in accordance with the following figure 2.11:

Relay Output

Requirement for the electronic transistor output:

The load connected to PLC must have the following characteristics:

The maximum switch current cannot exceed 2A.

When the switch is ON (Q=1), the maximum current is 2A.

There are two type transistor output: the one is equivalent NPN type, for example, S12MTDC and S22MTDC.

The connection is in accordance with the following figure:

The NPN Transistor Output

Notes:

1. The load connecting voltage must be 80VDC and it must be DC.

2. The "-" terminal of the output wiring must be connected with the DC positive voltage, And it must be connected with the "M" terminal of the MiniSuperPLCs power. a load must be connected with The "+" termina of the DC positive voltage.

The other is equivalent PNP type, for example, S12MGDC and S22MGDC.

The connection is in accordance with the following figure:

The PNP Transistor Output

Notes:

1. The load connecting voltage must be 80VDC and it must be DC.

2. The "+" terminal of the output wiring must be connected with the DC positive voltage, And it must be connected with the "L+" terminal of the MiniSuperPLCs power.a load must be connected with The "-" termina of the DC positive voltage.

Net-connecting of MiniSuperPLCs Series

Mini Super PLCs series PLC can be connected with voice module, remote control module, extension module together and use. They must be the same type.

That is to say that the AC types are connected with the AC types and the DC types are connected with the DC types.

Notes:

1. The connecting voltage of the transistor type output control must be 80VDC and the load voltage must be DC.

2. Each PLC can be connected with 5 extension modules at best, and it is better you connect with the 3 extension modules, one voice module and a remote control module at most.

3. The address of the extension module is set to be 1-5. (For details please consult the contents of Chapter VII)

4. The AC type PLC must externally be connected with voice module, extension module and remote control of AC type. And the same with the DC type PLC.

Danger

1.Current safety regulations do not permit the connection of different phases to the input.

2.Power and input must same phases

3.Do not touch the input and output points and power input points at MiniSuperPLCs working.

4.Don’t touch or take down the link bridge SCBA/CBD at MiniSuperPLCs working.
