Analog sensor for
angle measurement |
Spanish
|
The rotation of the sensor will vary the electrical
resistance of the output!
The
SRV sensors combine the features of a hermetically sealed tilt switch
with the versatility of a Potentiometer. Rotating the sensor will vary
the resistance in proportion to the angle rotated. This device is
excellent for robotics, virtual interfaces, measurement of rotary
movement, level controls, appliances, security alarm systems, toys and
games, float switches and liquid treatment
equipment, robots, and more...
These devices combine the features of a tilt switch with the versatility of a
potentiometer. Rotating the sensor will vary the resistance in proportion to the angle
rotated. They are available in 2-terminal and 3-terminal configurations and also, in a
sealed epoxy housing for mounting on a PC board. Resistance values from
1KOHM to 1MOHM
are available. Common applications include medical equipment, robotics and aerial work
platforms.
